As we shared earlier that Airtel is likely to launch 4G services in Kolkata and will be launched by Hon. minister Kapil Sibal. Now it is confirmed that launch will be today by Information and communication minister Kapil sibal in kolkata.
Airtel 4G plan and services and other details is now visible on Airtel official website. Airtel 4G plan details and other information on official website is now available on Airtel website. Airtel 4G plan and other details will be available on this airtel 4G website url http://www.airtel.in/4g/index.html To use Airtel 4G services customer required to buy special USIM which is priced at Rs.49 from Airtel store because only USIM will work in 4G devices. Customer can not use existing SIM to use 4G service and have to buy new USIM. customer not able toxx use 4G services on existing no.
Airtel 4G plan and services can be used on special 4G dongle which is available by Airtel which is Huawei E392 modem. Huawei E392 supports GSM/EDGE and UMTS/HSPA92 that means user can utilize any network which is available if 4G/LTE network is not available. Price of Huawei E392 is not yet announced by Airtel but its likely going to be Rs.7500 or more.
